State Testing:
Our 3rd through 6th grade students are taking the state online standards tests (CAASPP) over the next three weeks. During the three weeks, each class will test for an hour or two a day for approximately 3 to 4 days. You can assist your child in being prepared by making sure he/ she get a good night’s sleep and have a healthy breakfast. The Liberty School Foundation has once again provided a healthy snack for all students who are testing each day. Thanks to the Foundation and the snack coordinator, Emily Anzelc, for our snacks.

Friends of the Petaluma River:
At Friends of the Petaluma River, we’re getting ready for our annual Spring Petaluma River Cleanup, and we’d love to invite your school’s families and community to join us. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, May 3rd, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and all ages are welcome.
We’ll meet at Steamer Landing Park and then head out to clean up the creeks and tributaries of the Petaluma River. After the cleanup, we’ll gather back at the park to celebrate with a BBQ lunch, live music, and a raffle.
It’s always a fun and meaningful event, and we’d love to have your community out there with us!
