Note from Mrs. Acosta- What a fantastic first day! We are off to a great start, and the day went smoothly. We loved welcoming students for the 2026-27 school year. Students seemed excited to be on campus and get back in the school routine. Thank you to our staff, students, and families for making the first day of school wonderful.

School Pictures- Friday, August 28th, is school picture day. School pictures can be pre-ordered online by August 26th to save some money. You can scan the QR code on the flyer that went home with the beginning-of-the-year documents. More flyers are available in the office.

New Food Program - The ordering process for our new food program is different from previous years. As a reminder, please order breakfasts and/ or lunches by the Monday before the week you want the food for your child. So, if you are interested in ordering food for the week of August 31st, your order needs to be in by 3:00 pm on Monday, August 24th. Menus are available for pickup at the office and are on the website.

Beginning of the Year Documents- Please remember to go to the SchoolWise parent portal on our website to complete your beginning-of-year documents by the end of the day on Friday, August 21st.

Family Fun Night- Let’s get ready to celebrate this new school year! Family Fun Night is on Friday, August 28th, and we need your help to make it a fun and successful night for all our students and their families. Many of the available slots aren’t for long periods of time, so there will still be plenty of time for everyone to enjoy the night with their families and friends.

Morning Greeters! - We are looking for this year’s MORNING GREETERS!!! It is a super fun way to start the day! Morning greeters are for those who want and are able to make it to school by 8 a.m. and help – you guessed it – open doors and greet students as they arrive.
It’s a great way to see and meet all the students, wave hello to parents, add a fun way to start the day, and help move that drop-off line along for all of the parents needing to get on their way. This volunteer opportunity fills up fast, and most people come back year after year.
Currently we need:
Monday – 2 spots
Tuesday – 2 spots
Thursday – 1 spot
Friday – 1 spot
OR you can send in your name and number to be a backup greeter, someone who can jump in on occasion when someone calls out sick.
Just text me your name, available weekdays, and if you want a solid spot or just to be on call.

Back to School Night- Wednesday, August 26
Back to School Night Schedule:
6:30 Primary Grades (TK-2)
7:15 Intermediate Grades (3-6)
8:00 Time to go home!
We look forward to seeing all the parents at Back to School Night. Back to School Night is an opportunity for you to meet your child’s teacher and become acquainted with the classroom curriculum, procedures, goals, and expectations. We are proud of our school and educational programs, and we welcome the opportunity to meet with parents and share our plans with you. Please understand that Back to School Night is not a time for individual conferences. With so many parents, your child’s teacher does not have time to discuss individual student progress and concerns. If you have concerns about your child, please arrange a phone call or conference time with your child’s teacher for another date. Keep in mind that we will schedule regular conferences in November. Back to School Night is not a time to bring children. It is a time for parents and teachers.
