Dear Liberty Families,
We are excited to share an important step in the planning of a potential new middle school for the Liberty School community.
A community meeting will be held on September 10th at 6:00 p.m. in the Liberty School Multipurpose Room to provide an overview of the proposed project and, most importantly, to hear community input as part of the CEQA process. While we will share some information about the potential middle school program, this meeting will primarily focus on gathering feedback related to the environmental review. Additional meetings will be scheduled to engage families and the community in the middle school’s academic program.
Included with this message are documents related to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review of the proposed project. CEQA is a state process that evaluates potential environmental impacts and identifies ways to avoid or reduce those impacts. We are providing these materials so our community can better understand both the proposed project and the environmental review process. We invite parents, neighbors, staff, and other community members to review the documents and participate by providing comments and questions during the CEQA process.
