The Great Petaluma Egg Hunt:
March 28, 2026, is the 20th anniversary of the Great Petaluma Egg Hunt. This is a very fun, kid-oriented, FREE event for kids and parents at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds, rain or shine! This event is hosted by Petaluma Sunrise Rotary, has grown each year and is truly a wonderful time for all involved. Kids are split into age groups to keep it fair for all, and parents can accompany the youngest participants. Kids get eggs filled with treats or tickets that they can exchange for their choice of age-appropriate prizes (toys, puzzles, art kits, etc). There will be free hot dogs, milk, and popcorn to keep participants fueled up for the egg hunting!

New Classroom Wing Procedures for 5th and 6th Grades:
The 5th- and 6th-graders are enjoying their new classrooms. As a reminder, these are the procedures we ask 5th and 6th-grade families to be aware of:
o
Drop Off
Morning drop off is at the loop as usual. Students are not to be dropped off in the parking lot down by the new classrooms.
After being dropped off, students should go directly to the playground with their backpacks. Students cannot meet or hang out in front of their classrooms before school.
Late students need to be dropped off at the office and signed in before going to the classroom.
o
Pick Up
Pick up is at the loop as usual. Students will not be released anywhere in the parking lot.
If a student is being picked up early, parents must come to the office to sign them out. The student must come to the office before leaving with the parent.
Thank you for helping make this transition run as smoothly as possible.

Morning Greeters Needed:
This is a super fun volunteer opportunity that is about 15-20 minutes in the morning (on your way to school). We are looking for someone to help cover Wednesday Mornings. Along with that, if you aren't sure you want to commit to once a week, but maybe can on occasion, please sign up to be 'Back up'! What this means is that we will reach out if someone is out of town or cannot come in that morning. That way, we can get someone to help out and keep our lines flowing smoothly. Backup will be as needed. If you are interested, please text Stephanie Arend at 707-695-3510. Thank you all for making mornings fun and efficient! All families have been amazing!
